Designed to prepare &
reinforce math concepts.
Our tutors prepare students from grades 1 to 5 with math skills in accordance with the Common Core Standards in 60-minute sessions conducted over Zoom.
Learning Goals
Use the four operations with whole numbers to solve problems
Gain familiarity with factors and multiples
Compare fractions with different numerators and denominators
Solve problems involving measurement and conversion measurements
Draw and identify lines and angles, and classify shapes by properties of their lines and angles

Meet Your Tutor: Yashica Gupta
Yashica Gupta is a psychology major at UC Riverside and she is exploring her career options in the fields of healthcare and psychology. She chose to join IELC because she knows how important the arduous journey of learning is especially at a young age. Outside of IELC, you can find her reading a book, enjoying a coffee, or spending time with her dog, Daisy.

Pamela is a first-year Human Biology and Public Health Major at UC Merced with plans to attend medical school and dedicate her career to studying and treating skin disorders. Pamela has a strong passion for learning and is committed to helping students build confidence in their studies. Whether your child needs help understanding math concepts and improving study skills, Pamela makes learning engaging and accessible.
