Designed to prepare &
reinforce math concepts.
Our tutors prepare students from grades 1 to 5 with math skills in accordance with the Common Core Standards in 60-minute sessions conducted over Zoom.
Learning Goals
Understanding how to do addition and substraction.
Learning about counting and place values.
Investigating how to use standardized measurements.
Understanding how to tell and write time.
Working on basic geometry.
Doing word problems with the knowledge of math learned during the couse.

Meet Your Tutor: Swathi Chirumamilla
Swathi is an undergraduate student at UIUC studying Molecular and Cellular Biology and double minoring in Psychology and Chemistry. She is also on the Pre-Med track and hopes to pursue Pediatric interventional medicine. Outside of IELC and school, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, swimming, singing and watching shows.
