Grade 1 Math
Designed to prepare &
reinforce math concepts.
Our tutors prepare students from grades 1 to 5 with math skills in accordance with the Common Core Standards in 60-minute sessions conducted over Zoom.
Learning Goals
Understanding how to do addition and substraction.
Learning about counting and place values.
Investigating how to use standardized measurements.
Understanding how to tell and write time.
Working on basic geometry.
Doing word problems with the knowledge of math learned during the couse.

Meet Your Tutor: Julisse Moreno
Julisse Moreno is a fourth-year student at UC San Diego, majoring in Psychology with a minor in Education Studies. She is passionate about helping others and is deeply committed to giving back to her community, especially through supporting students in their learning. In her free time, she enjoys spending time in nature, reading, and going on walks.
